Claire and Jake knew they wanted to spend their time in nature, with the peace of just the two of them around. My mind immediately went to Ely's Peak. A wedding on the North Shores of Minnesota is all of those things and more, depending on where you look. The landscape is packed with beautiful views and intense trail systems scattered around the area.
This styled shoot was packed with the most breath taking views! Their location over looked the St.Louis River and the hillside of Duluth, Minnesota. We began the 1 mile hike with all of our things packed to change at the top. The hike began at 4:30am in order to catch the sunrise. The full moon started setting as the first look began. The sun began to rise creating the perfect lighting to capture the joy and love shared between these two.
