St. Louis County Courthouse Marriage, Duluth MN // Martha + Nate

Martha + Nate wanted something different for their elopement.


We worked together to plan a really special day in Duluth, MN that had a vast amount of what they both really wanted.


The elopement began at a VRBO on the shores of Lake Superior. Photo coverage began just as Martha finished up getting her hair and make-up done. Both got dressed in their wedding attire, popped some champagne, and traveled down the shore to St. Louis County Courthouse. Martha and Nate shared their intimate vows outside in front of a judge, a family member, and Lake Superior, visible from the courthouse, as their witness.


After making their marriage official, Martha did a quick dress change into a comfy beautifully beaded floor-length dress and went for a hike through Lester Park. We stopped at a cliff edge overlooking the river before heading back to the Lake. Brighton Beach was the next stop before dinner, where Martha and Nate enjoyed some dancing on the rocky shores and tossed a couple of rocks into the lake. Next was dinner at VaBene and dessert cake from Whole Foods back at the VRBO.
