For Ella and Dennis, being on the North Shore is a place they enjoy traveling to. It's their escape from the hustle of everyday life. We were all open to traveling to a completely new place on the North Shore and going on a bit of a hike. We packed some comfy and sturdy walking shoes to take the icy patches slowly.
Get the right hiking distance.
You don't need to be an expert hiker, BUT you just have to know your ability level. Dennis and Ella thought a .5 mile hike would be a good distance. I assured them that the hike had a waterfall and amazing trees nearby it.
